LM.C (short
for lovely mocochang) consists of two members, Maya & Aiji. Over
the years they have gathered a lot of fans thanks to their colorful
style and catchy songs. The duo describes their sound as a mix of
electronic rock and pop, which they call “new century electrorock”.
Similar bands are SuG and Antic Cafe (アンティック-珈琲店).
Maya was the
one who originally formed LM.C in 2003. At that time he was a support
guitarist for Miyavi and played in his own band “The Sinners”.
There's not much info about these early years of LM.C or the line-up.
The group heavily relied on support members for live performances.
Aiji originally worked as a support guitarist for LM.C since he was
still with his band “PIERROT”.
After the
disbandment of PIERROT in 2006, Aiji joined maya as an official
member of LM.C. The duo got signed to label “Pony Canyon” and
made their major debut in October 2006 by releasing the singles
"Trailers (Gold)" and "Trailers (Silver). On January

single got featured in the anime “Katekyō Hitman Reborn!” as the
second opening theme. Later that year two other singles followed.
When the

Heat II - Unmei no Futari’ for Nintendo DS. Due to the outbreak of
Swine Flu in North America, LM.C cancelled the Dallas, Texas
performance at “A-KON TWENTY” in May 2009. The record label
prohibited employees and musicians from travelling overseas until it
was safe again.
On March 3,
