Band of the Week: THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S

These guys caught my attention a while back when their album "A Beginning from the End" came out (we reviewed it here ), and now they've announced an international tour, so it was about time we featured them as band of the week.

On 01/12/2012 they will celebrate their one year anniversary as a performing band, so even though they are a young band, they have achieved quite a few things: An album, several performances in important halls in Japan and now the single "Monster's Roar" is also out.

Guitarists SHUN. and Kazuya had a hard time finding a job that fit them after FANATIC CRISIS disbanded. They had worked separately on projects, but nothing felt quite right, so they decided to team up once again and start up something new..

Having found ZERO, they still lacked two things: a drummer and a vocalist. ZERO figured the only drummer he could see for TMH4NS would have to be Tsukasa, with whom he'd performed in D'EspairsRay.

And then along came Ricky, whom Kazuya had been  keeping an eye on for almost a Decade. It took Ricky one single performance to fall in love with the new band and agree to sing for them. They did a gig together, with the full line-up, and immediately caught the audience's heart.

With 2 pairs of "seasoned" musicians, the band had the advantage of not having to go through the baby-stages, like most bands. These guys had professionals from the get-go, which allowed them to advance much quicker and rise much higher within the industry. Of course, without talented musicians, none of that would be possible, and they probably would have gotten where they are now without the industry-help. ..it just would have taken a lot longer.

The good news for us now, is that they've signed up with French record label Bishi Bishi, and will be touring Europe in February next year!
