They don't have a "band history" listed on their website, or anywhere else, so this time I'll make it more of a "band review"..
All official info we know is that they are based in Sendai (Japan), are with "Real Style Creations" and have signed up with Râmen Events and Astan for their European tour (currently rolling!). But I think for a band like this, their music says it all. And the size of the fanbase only supports their almost legendary rise to fame.
They are a bizarre mix of Moi dix Mois, Gackt, Hyde and something else I can't quite define. Vocalist Syouta doesn't smoke (a rarity!) and uses his fairly low voice to the fullest. He gets quite loud without being rough or sounding like he has sandpaper in his throat, and when he talks, he sounds like Gackt. (who is a smoker, so that's kinda weird too. I guess he takes extremely good care of his voice.)
This band is a collection of weird, and I think that's what attracts their fans to their music. When it comes to looks, though, they are pretty stereotypical Visual Kei, which is fine. If they'd gotten too excentric or flamboyant with their outfits, they'd be a cacaphonious band image. Their "normal" (to the norms of Visual Kei, that is) look balances out their strangeness in music.
It's not the same kind of strangeness as DOG in the PWO, though. It's more subtle, and perhaps more mature, which I think is what they're going for with this style.
What's also fun, is the members each have a fanmail address displayed on the website!
As stated above, they are currently touring Europe (mostly France), so if you want to see them live, now's your chance. For those of you who want to have some samples to make up their minds:
