Song of the Week: "Ashita Genki ni Naare" by Miyavi

This is one of my happy songs :)

It's also the first Miyavi song I heard, and in fact the first Japanese pop/rock song I ever heard.

It all happened when my dear friend and I were talking on the school playground..

She was wearing an anime-shirt, and we were talking about music. I wasn't into Japan at the time, but hey, good music is good music, no matter where it's from, right?

So she thought I would like Miyavi.

I had never heard of him, but fell in love upon first listen.

This is the song that started it all for me, so I cherish it and Miyavi.

He and his music have been a very important part of my life in my late teens and early twenties.

I guess this is a bit of a tribute to him.
